The Story Behind Infinity Z

My Journey

My journey into music production began with mixing, inspired by Luciano Calado, whose music I had always admired. His support and encouragement were important to me in the early stages of my musical journey.

At the time, I created a few remixes, but I didn't yet have the environment and experience needed to develop my production further. I was passionate about music, but I needed more contact with the production world to understand where I could take that passion.

Years later, I returned to music with a different perspective. I began deepening my understanding of music production, while exploring both its creative and technical aspects.

I became increasingly focused on the details that shape a track — balance, dynamics, frequency relationships, spatial depth and the interaction between rhythm, melody and atmosphere.

A New Creative Freedom

The emergence of AI opened a new creative door for me.

It gave me the freedom to explore musical ideas that previously felt difficult or impossible to create on my own. Instead of being limited by the instruments, musicians or resources available to me, I could experiment with different sounds, arrangements, melodies and musical directions.

It also gave me the opportunity to move beyond remixing and begin creating original productions, while developing a sound more closely aligned with my own musical taste and artistic identity.

For me, this was the moment when mixing and remixing began to evolve into creating original music.

The Infinity Z Process

Using AI to generate musical ideas is only the beginning of the process.

A generated idea is not automatically a finished song. I often explore many different musical possibilities before finding something that feels connected to my identity and the sound I want to create.

From there, the music goes through selection, editing, arrangement, sound choices, production, mixing and finalization. Every stage involves creative decisions — what to keep, what to change, what to remove and what needs to be developed further.

The goal is not simply to generate a song.

The goal is to discover something worth turning into an Infinity Z track.

I see AI as a creative instrument that expands the possibilities available to me. It can provide ideas and possibilities, but the direction, selection, development and final decisions remain part of my creative process.

The Sound of Infinity Z

Infinity Z grew from my connection with Brazilian Zouk, DJing, mixing and music production, and continues to evolve through experimentation.

My musical influences extend beyond a single genre. I draw inspiration from electronic music, New Age and pop, while Brazilian Zouk remains an important part of the way I understand rhythm, movement and musical connection.

I have also always been inspired by producers such as Cronos and Mafie Zouker, whose approach to Zouk production has influenced the way I think about groove, atmosphere and the relationship between music and dance.

These influences come together in the sound I am developing with Infinity Z: music built around groove, emotion, sensuality and atmosphere — music that can connect with dancers, but also stand on its own as something to listen to and feel.

The technology may change. The tools may evolve.

But the search for a sound that feels genuinely Infinity Z remains the same.
